Montessori Children’s School is thriving and expanding! We are seeking a dedicated Lower Elementary Lead Teacher to join our small, vibrant, and nurturing community. Our school serves children ages 2–14, and our beautiful neighborhood campus features thoughtfully designed classrooms, wooded trails, and peaceful spaces for students to learn, play, and grow. • Create a dynamic classroom experience rooted in authentic Montessori principles, fostering independence and a love for learning.
• Develop engaging, hands‑on lesson plans that meet the individual needs of students while nurturing their emotional, social, and intellectual growth.
• Guide students with patience and respect, serving as a role model of kindness, integrity, and curiosity.
• Assess and support each child’s progress, keeping parents informed with thoughtful and comprehensive student reports.
• Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom where every child feels valued.
• Collaborate with assistants and fellow educators to cultivate a strong classroom community.
• Inspire young minds beyond the classroom with field trips and experiential learning opportunities.

• Bachelor’s degree‑Required (Education, Elementary Teaching, or related field).
• Montessori Certification (Lower Elementary, Ages 6‑9) from an accredited program preferred (or willingness to pursue certification).
• Experience in an elementary classroom setting.
• Passion for child‑centered education, hands‑on learning, and fostering independence.
• Ability to engage, inspire, and guide students with warmth and enthusiasm.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
