Infant of Prague Catholic School is a PK-12 school located in Jacksonville, NC. We are currently accepting applications for a full-time high school Science teacher. Canidates should present passionate dispositions towards teaching and preferably of Catholic Faith.

• Perform professional responsibilities of a teacher, including but not limited to planning lessons and preparing instructional materials based upon the identified Diocese of Raleigh curriculum standards , attending meetings and school functions, serving on faculty committees, communicating with parents and administration, and maintaining positive relationships with peers, students, parents, and Administration.
• Accept the mission of the school as articulated at the Diocesan, school, and parish levels
• Implement the educational mission, philosophy, goals, and objectives of the school
• Plan, prepare, teach, and interact with students so as to challenge students to maximize their individual potential
• Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills to form successful partnerships with colleagues, students, parents, and Administration

• Employment is contingent upon applicant satisfactorily passing criminal background and reference checks
• Must complete diocese-sponsored Safe Environment Training prior to start.
• Minimum level of
  
  Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
• Minimum amount of
  
  Work Experience:
• Years of related work experience: 3 or more years of professional experience related to education.

• Hold a NC licensure in Education or equivalent from another state.
