High School Pre-Employment Facilitator

Job Type: Full-Time | 10-Month Position

Are you passionate about helping young adults discover their potential? Community Workforce Solutions is looking for a caring, organized, and energetic Pre-Employment Transition (Pre-ETS) Facilitator to support high school students with disabilities as they prepare for life after graduation.

For over 60 years, Community Workforce Solutions has been helping individuals with disabilities achieve greater independence through employment, education, and community inclusion. We partner with schools, families, employers, and local communities to create opportunities that empower people to succeed.

• Support instruction for high school students (ages 14-22) participating in Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS)
• Travel between 3-4 high schools throughout Onslow County
• Assist with classroom activities, small-group instruction, and individualized student support
• Create lesson materials and prepare classroom activities
• Document services, maintain program records, and assist with billing
• Encourage student engagement while helping build confidence, independence, and workplace skills
• Collaborate with instructors and school staff to provide a positive learning environment

• Associate’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, Rehabilitation, or a related human services field preferred (equivalent experience will be considered)
• Experience working with students or individuals with developmental disabilities
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Valid North Carolina driver’s license with a driving record that meets agency standards
• Ability to travel between school sites throughout Onslow County
• Ability to successfully complete a background check and drug screening

• Lift 10-25 pounds
• Sit, stand, and move throughout the school day

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00/hour
