The Department of Health Policy and Management ( HPM ), Gillions School of Global Public Health at The University of North Carolina ( UNC ) at Chapel Hill offers residential and executive Master of Healthcare Administration ( MHA ), and residential Masters of Science in Public Health ( MSPH – currently paused for market alignment updates) degree programs. HPM is engaged in significant strategic planning work to increase enrollment, diversify course and program offerings, engage alumni, connect with employers and other external stakeholders, and position HPM’s programs in a competitive higher educational environment.

Thus, the department is seeking a professional, non-faculty, Associate Director of Masters’ programs who will:
1) support development and management of strategic academic initiatives to ensure that HPM’s curriculum prepares students for current career options and provides opportunities for life-long learning;
2) Support the faculty directors of Masters’ programs in program evaluation and operations; and
3) in partnership with the HPM Associate Chair for Alumni Affairs, support alumni engagement and student professional development.
