Skill Bridge Field Service Representative
Duration: 17 weeks

New River, NC

The Military DoW Skill Bridge program offers Service members valuable civilian work experience during the last 180 days of service. Rolls‑Royce provides real‑world training and work experience in in‑demand fields, evaluating Service member suitability for work. Participants are not eligible for compensation from Rolls‑Royce, as they receive military compensation.

• Manage and maintain close liaison with all relevant sections of customer organization, and Rolls‑Royce Customer Support, Engineering and Program Management.
• Analyze results and publish reports detailing procedures and conclusions.
• Establish and maintain working relationships with Field Service Representatives and Deployed Operations Managers (DOMs) on all supported Defense programs.
• Establish and maintain working relationships with Customer Training Managers and Instructors.
• Provide technical assistance in the form of written, phone calls, electronic communication or customer visits relating to aircraft engine operations, maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and logistics support.
• Utilize and support Rolls‑Royce and customer databases and diagnostic software programs on generated technical queries.

• 5 years relevant engine maintenance experience.
• Experience maintaining, operating, testing, or equivalent with Aircraft Gas Turbine Engines.
• Familiarity with applicable regulations of relevant airworthiness authorities.
• Current FAA Mechanic Certificate with a Powerplant rating or international equivalent.
• Experience with AE1107 engine.
• Prior military experience.
• Associate degree.
• U.S. Citizenship (work authorization eligibility).
