We are seeking a Water/Wastewater SCADA Specialist for the Facilities Related Control Systems (FRCS) Support Services contract. This project will provide knowledge, training, and support to assist the U.S. Marine Corps Public Works Department in the areas of FRCS, Cybersecurity, Assessment and Authorization (A&A), Authority To Operate/Authority to Connect (ATO/ATC) package upkeep and maintenance, USMC Cloud and Cloud-Based A&A support, and data center support/administration for the FRCS virtualized environment, servers, and associated applications.
This is a full-time, on-site position at Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Lejeune, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) New River, and satellite locations near Camp Lejeune, working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, within normal business hours (7:00 am to 5:00 pm).

Whatwill the Water/Wastewater SCADA Specialist at Terrestris do?
The Water/Wastewater SCADA Specialist will be a key personnel position for the Facilities Related Control Systems (FRCS) Support Services contract. This position configures, maintains, and troubleshoots water and wastewater SCADA systems, integrating controls and communications. This position is contingent upon contract award.
What does a typical day look like for a Water/Wastewater SCADA Specialist?You will:
- Configure, program, maintain, and troubleshoot water and wastewater SCADA systems, PLCs, HMIs, variable frequency drives, and industrial communications supporting continuous utility operations.
- Develop, modify, and optimize Rockwell Automation, PlantPAx, Factory Talk View, Thin Manager, and Allen-Bradley control applications while integrating Modbus, DNP3, Ethernet/IP, and other industrial protocols.
- Perform software installations, firmware upgrades, security patches, and preventive maintenance on SCADA servers, PLCs, RTUs, VFDs, and field devices to ensure secure and reliable system performance.
- Monitor real-time operations, historical databases, system alarms, communications, and process trends to identify anomalies, diagnose equipment failures, verify data integrity, and restore normal operations.
- Calibrate and validate flow meters, pressure transmitters, level sensors, dissolved oxygen probes, and other process instrumentation while interpreting electrical schematics, P&IDs, and engineering drawings to support system maintenance and upgrades.
- Configure and maintain industrial communications infrastructure, including GE and Redline radios, cellular modems, fiber optic networks, Ethernet systems, and remote telemetry connections supporting water and wastewater facilities.
- Collaborate with plant operators, engineers, instrumentation technicians, contractors, and cybersecurity personnel to implement system upgrades, strengthen OT security, automate reporting, and maintain compliance with operational and regulatory requirements.

- A current Secret clearance is required.

- Oral and written English fluency.
- State’s Driver’s License.
- SCADA/HMI Platforms:
Expert in VFD programming with Allen-Bradley Power Flex devices with industrial networking Ethernet/IP protocol. Must be Expert in troubleshooting hardware / software issues across the family of Allen-Bradley and Rockwell Automation. - PLC Logic Programming:
Extensive experience with Rockwell Automation and expert in Rockwell Software Plant Pax, Factory Talk View SE & Me, Thin manger. - Experience in performing software security updates, system patches, software patches, and firmware updates (such as Allen-Bradley, Modicon, Siemens, or GE).
- Experience in calibrating flow meters, pressure transmitters, level sensors, and dissolved oxygen (DO) probes.
- Electrical Circuitry (AC/DC):
Solid foundation in basic electrical theory to safely work with control loops (4-20mA), low-voltage DC power supplies, and AC motor controls. - Ability to interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs (Process and Instrumentation Diagrams), and blueprint specifications.
- Scripting & Customization:
Scripting skills (commonly Python, SQL, or VBA) to customize databases, design advanced alarm pipelines, or automate reporting. - Solid understanding of relational databases (MS SQL, MySQL) and historical databases…
