Sigma Defense is seeking a Liaison Officer
- United States Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC) to join our team in Camp Lejeune MCB, NC. This position is in the Secretariat for Special Operations (SSO), Office of the Assistant Secretary of War for Special Operations and Low-Intensity Conflict (OASW(SO/LIC)). The ASW(SO/LIC) serves as the principal civilian advisor and assistant to the Secretary of War and has statutory responsibility for overseeing special operations-peculiar administrative matters pertaining to the readiness and organization of special operations forces (SOF), resources and equipment, and civilian personnel.

Liaison Officer (LNO) will work within the SSO's Capability Development and Innovation (CD&I) Global Strategic Partnerships Team. LNOs serves as the embedded forward-deployed subject matter expert and force multiplier for SSO. The LNO will advise and assist the Theater Special Operations Command (TSOC) staff on the integration of emerging technologies and will support interoperability and rapid fielding of capabilities to SOF, as required by the Command.

The LNO combines operational knowledge, personal/professional networking, and technical insight to manage and advance capability development opportunities. The LNO must maintain currency and continually adapt and keep their technical expertise current with respect to the evolving operational environment, key operating problems, and associated technological capability gaps. They are responsible for ensuring deployed technologies are supportable and capable of continuing mission operations.

The LNO must be a self-starter, be a motivated force multiplier bringing together end users.
