American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring night shifts and certifications including NRP and ACLS.

• 10-bed Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
• Obstetrical patient population with patient ratios varying by stage of labor, ranging from 1:1 to 1:4
• Schedule:
  
  4x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Weekends required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required as needed
• Block scheduling requests cannot be accommodated
• Meditech EMR preferred; onsite training available if needed

• Active NC or compact state RN license required
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
• Current certifications required: BLS, NRP, and ACLS (must be obtained within the last 6 months)
• CPI certification must be in hand prior to start
• Two professional references required for consideration
• PDF copies of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration

• Provides direct care to obstetrical patients, including assessment, medication administration, order management, care evaluation, documentation, and care team communication
• Care is provided in adherence to all hospital policies and accreditation standards
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
