Desktop Support Technician

Description

Our client is looking for a Desktop Support / Field Services Technician to assist with assessment, deployment, migration, and go-live support activities throughout the duration of the project. This is a long-term contract opportunity with potential to extend beyond the October 2027 go-live date to support post-implementation activities.

• HP laptops transitioning to Lenovo devices
• Zoho Desk transitioning to Service Now
• SOTI transitioning to Intune
• Microsoft environment

Desktop, Support, Troubleshooting, Active directory, Hardware, Install, Imaging, windows 11, ticketing system

• 1+ years of desktop support, field services, or technical support experience
• Windows 10/11 support and troubleshooting
• Hardware deployment and workstation setup experience
• Experience with imaging and device configuration
• Active Directory experience (user setup, permissions, password resets)
• Experience using ticketing systems such as Service Now, Zoho Desk, Remedy, or similar
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently throughout hospital and clinic locations
• Ability to lift and move technology equipment as part of deployment activities

Entry Level

This is a Contract position based out of Jacksonville, NC.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
