Seven Healthcare is pleased to present an excellent nursing opportunity for a Travel Registered Nurse in Geriatrics in Jacksonville, NC. This assignment offers a weekly rate of $2,125 for three 12-hour night shifts (36 hours).

Key Responsibilities of the Geriatric Travel Nurse
Provide direct patient care to geriatric patients in inpatient, outpatient, or long-term care settings.
Assess patient health status, develop and implement personalized care plans, and monitor ongoing needs.
Administer medications and treatments while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment options, and health maintenance.
Collaborate with physicians, social workers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
Accurately document all patient care activities in accordance with facility policies.
Advocate for patient needs while respecting their dignity and independence.
Support end-of-life and palliative care initiatives when applicable.
Requirements of the Geriatric Travel Nurse
Valid North Carolina/Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Current BLS certification.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a geriatric setting.
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
