Part-Time Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant – Urgent Care

As an Urgent Care (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA), you'll be a key member of our fast-paced, team-oriented urgent care setting—providing compassionate, high-quality care to patients of all ages. You'll diagnose and treat acute illnesses, minor injuries, and urgent medical concerns, all while ensuring an exceptional patient experience. Clinic hours are 700a-700p and the position will include approximately 2 shifts per week (averaging 24 hours) with flexibility to work partial shifts.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive, patient-focused urgent care to individuals and families
- Perform assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions
- Educate patients on preventive care, wellness, and healthy lifestyle choices
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver coordinated care
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records following compliance standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and protocol development
- Current NP or PA certification and active North Carolina license (or eligibility)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an urgent care setting as a practicing provider
- Strong clinical assessment skills and commitment to patient-centered care
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and flexible in scheduling
