• At least 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting
• Other requirements may be determined by the client facility

Med‑Surg RN nurses provide care for adult patients before and after surgical procedures and manage pharmaceutical treatment for acute illnesses. They are expected to:

• Execute assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine and post‑surgical care.
• Assess changes in patients’ health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medications.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care among nursing staff, physicians, and other team members.
