Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver – Jacksonville, NC

Full Time

$16.31 / Hour

Mon, Tue, Wed, Sat, Sun: 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor entrances, lobbies, hallways, and other assigned areas to help support authorized access, visitor direction, and compliance with location policies and procedures.
• Assist with security‑related reporting, incident documentation, and shift handoff communication while maintaining professionalism and customer service in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
