OverviewCritical decisions are made every single day within our nation's defense enterprise. Your analytical skills will support timely, relevant, and accurate intelligence that underpins warfighter readiness. As an analyst supporting the Marine Corps, you will apply tradecraft, regional awareness, and problem‑solving to help the service understand emerging threats and global instability. The role focuses on foundational intelligence monitoring within the U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM) area of responsibility, tracking instability and malign state influences that may impact the Marine Corps' global crisis response mission.
In this role you will integrate all‑source reporting, explore varied data holdings, and produce assessments that contribute to the broader Marine Corps warning picture. You will gain experience with multi‑discipline intelligence—including CI, HUMINT, GEOINT, SIGINT, and OSINT—structured analytic techniques, and emerging analytic tools while working alongside mid‑level and senior analysts.
What You’ll Work On- Monitor, triage, and assess all‑source intelligence reporting to identify significant developments within the AFRICOM AOR.
- Provide foundational regional analysis in direct support of the Marine Corps for Global Response.
- Research and integrate multi‑disciplinary intelligence including CI, HUMINT, GEOINT, SIGINT, and OSINT into broader assessments on regional stability and activity.
- Develop and maintain foundational intelligence products, including country studies, threat group profiles, and orders of battle.
- Assist mid‑level and senior analysts in building more complex and predictive assessments.
- Produce and brief intelligence summaries for Marine Corps staff on African regional security issues.
- Document and maintain all source references used in analytic production.
- Apply structured analytic techniques and emerging tools to basic analytic tasks.
- Draft intelligence summaries and contribute to formal reporting across classification levels from Unclassified to Top Secret.
- 3+ years of experience with all‑source intelligence analysis, including researching, analyzing, and creating strategic intelligence assessments and judgments from multiple intelligence sources.
- 1+ years of experience writing long‑form finished intelligence products in the intelligence style.
- TS/SCI clearance.
- HS diploma or GED.
- Experience with open‑source intelligence tools and resources.
- Experience with link analysis or analyst notebook.
- Experience in complex adversary weapon systems and subsystems.
- Experience making assessments or judgments on incomplete or contradicting information.
- Knowledge of the NORTHCOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, CENTCOM, or SOUTHCOM Area of Responsibility.

CompensationSalary range for this position: $61,900.00 to $ (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
