Industrial HVAC Service Technician

Columbus, MS | $25–$40/hour

As an HVAC Service Technician, you will support our customers by troubleshooting, servicing, repairing, and maintaining commercial and industrial HVAC equipment and systems. This is a hands-on field position for someone who enjoys diagnosing problems, working independently, and taking pride in quality workmanship. The right candidate brings strong mechanical skills, a dependable work ethic, and a responsive, customer-focused approach to every service call.

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC equipment and systems
• Perform preventive maintenance and service on HVAC equipment and related mechanical systems
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration-related issues
• Identify equipment problems and recommend appropriate repairs or solutions
• Complete service work safely, efficiently, and according to D&L quality standards
• Respond to customer service calls and address equipment issues in a timely manner
• Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members
• Document service work, equipment conditions, parts used, and repairs performed
• Follow company safety procedures and customer-specific jobsite requirements
• 3+ years of HVAC service experience in commercial or industrial environments.
• Strong troubleshooting experience across mechanical, electrical, and control systems in HVAC equipment.
• Hands-on experience servicing RTUs, mini splits, and package units.
• Experience following HVAC service safety standards.
• Ability to work responsively with plant maintenance teams on service calls.
• EPA Universal License
• $25–$40/hour, based on experience and qualifications
