Customer Repair Order Specialist

The Customer Repair Order Specialist is responsible for entering quotes, processing and verifying standard and special sales orders, and resolving all related problems of different sales regions:
Asia and India, Europe, Middle East, Africa, US and Latin America.

• Screen and prioritize incoming requests, received via fax or email.
• Enter Quotes/Orders into Oracle/SAP based Parts ERP System.
• Purchase Order Verify (POV) existing orders.
• Send out initial customer quote and order acknowledgements.
• Support global team entry activities and metrics.
• Support both external and internal customers.
• Support new system releases and enhancement testing (i.e. Oracle/SAP PMx ERP).
• Follow EHS rules and encourage coworkers to comply, execute mandatory EHS training and immediately report the incidents and near misses as required.

• Associate’s degree or High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution.

• Ability to influence onsite stakeholders and go to GENBA in the repair station.
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
• Relevant experience in customer service is an advantage, experience in a multinational company is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
• Fluent communication level of spoken and written English.
• Ability to Capabilities to effectively communicate both horizontally and vertically with customers and within GE organizations.
• Solid communication skills, self-motivation, ability to establish and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Team player attitude.
• Self-starter, capable of working with minimum supervision.
• Enjoys structured and repetitive work routine on a daily base.
• Strong, passionate supporter of customer service excellence.
