Role Overview:
A registered nurse with independent practice in a clinical setting, providing routine and complex care with a focus on long-term planning and contingency management. The nurse delegates tasks appropriately to care providers and addresses patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.
- Key Responsibilities:
Utilize the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of assigned patients. - Patient Care:
Administer medications and treatments per protocol, monitor side-effects, and document patient information thoroughly. - Patient
Education:
Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers, identifying issues and resources. - Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred; minimum of 1 year of related nursing experience preferred. Current RN license, BLS, and relevant certifications such as NRP, ACLS, and fetal monitoring (e.g., AWHONN FHM) are required. - Additional Requirements:
Completion of orientation, competency validations, and ongoing education. Experience in perinatal care or neonatal resuscitation is advantageous.

Provide holistic care, ensure proper documentation, administer treatments, and educate patients and families within a full-time night shift schedule (7PM - 7AM).
