This is a Full-time Days position Monday-Friday from 8-5.

Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center combines the clinical breakthroughs of the number one cancer center in America and the full resources of North Florida’s largest and most preferred health system.

• Performs venipuncture, IV catheter insertion, and PICC line care.
• Calculates and administers IV medications.
• Recognizes signs of distress or reaction to meds.
• Identifies abnormal labs based on patients drug and co-morbidities.
• Obtains vital signs.
• Provide for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization; supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services.
• Include patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care.
• Educate of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care.
• Serve as patient advocate and responsible for assisting the Interventional Radiologists.
• Provide optimum care utilizing the nursing process

• IV Team Experience
• Oncology Infusion Experience

• Associates of Science in Nursing Required
• Registered Nurse (RN) - State Nursing Boards Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA Required
