About the Nurse Supervisor Behavioral Health

The Nurse Supervisor Behavioral Health role places an experienced clinical leader inside a forward‑moving, quality‑driven healthcare organization where evidence‑based practice, Magnet‑style culture, and robust safety initiatives fuel low infection rates, strong patient experience scores, and trusted brand momentum. As a Nurse Supervisor, you will experience streamlined EHR workflows, decision‑support tools, telepsychiatry integration, and data dashboards that empower better outcomes, plus clinician‑first staffing models, shared governance councils, tuition assistance, paid CEUs, and leadership that actively listens through town halls and frontline‑driven improvement.

Within the Behavioral Health service line, the Nurse Supervisor will champion a mental health and psychiatric care program housed in a 25‑bed Critical Access Hospital serving southern New Hampshire that stands out for its elite aesthetic, large‑scale community investment, robust medical technology, and commitment to accessible, patient‑centered care.

The position reports to a Behavioral Health Nursing Director and partners closely with the Medical Director of Psychiatry. You will oversee daily operations, staffing, and mentorship for nurses and a diverse health‑care professional team, including psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, case managers, pharmacists, and peer specialists.

  • Provide staff education, precepting, onboarding, and scheduling support.
  • Conduct patient‑experience rounding and collaborate with charge resources and clear protocols.

Benefits
  • Competitive compensation with shift and specialty differentials, incentive opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits portfolio that includes multiple medical plans, dental and vision coverage, retirement with employer match, generous paid time off, tuition assistance, certification pay, wellness resources, and mental health support.
  • Four‑season outdoor recreation opportunities, proximity to Manchester, Portsmouth, and Boston, balanced cost of living, wide housing choices, short commutes, walkable downtowns, strong schools and higher‑education options, and a growing job market.
  • No state sales tax and no wage‑income tax, clean air, ample parks and green space, pet‑friendly trails, reliable broadband, and easy travel via regional airports.
