Fashion Designer

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Development
Create innovative western silhouettes including dresses, coord sets, tops, and fusion wear.
Develop seasonal collections aligned with brand aesthetics and fashion trends.
Work on detailed  illustrations, mood boards, and technical sketches  using Photoshop & Corel Draw.
Source and experiment with  fabrics, trims, and embellishments  suitable for both western and fusion styles.
Sampling & Production
Translate design concepts into samples with the in-house team.
Ensure fittings, pattern corrections, and fabric usage align with quality and cost.
Collaborate with the merchandising and production teams for smooth execution.
Trend & Market Research
Stay updated with global and Indian trends in western & fusion fashion.
Analyze competitor collections and contribute ideas for differentiation.
Brand Aesthetics
Maintain Fashion Dwar’s identity: modern yet rooted in premium quality and detail.
Ensure  every design reflects elegance, comfort, and commercial appeal .
Key Skills & Tools:
Software:  Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw (must have strong command).
Fabric Knowledge:  Cotton, Rayon, Muslin, Chanderi, Silk, Blends & their drapes.
Design Expertise:  Western silhouettes, dresses, coord sets, fusion wear.
Strong visualization, sketching & digital illustration skills.
Knowledge of garment construction, patterns, and embroidery placement.
Ability to work under deadlines with creativity and precision.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Fashion Design or related field.
2–5 years of professional experience in women’s western or fusion fashion.
Portfolio of previous work (required).
