Overview

Position:
Director of Sales – Indonesia (Jakarta-based)

We are hiring a senior commercial leader to build, scale, and lead our Indonesian brokerage operation. This is a true builder and owner role. You will be responsible for recruiting and developing agent teams, implementing proven sales and operational frameworks, and driving high-volume, high-quality transactions powered by Faz Waz technology. You will own brokerage performance in Indonesia, working closely with Regional Leadership and Group executives, with full access to SEA Connect’s portals, marketing engines, CRM, and transaction infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build & Lead a High-Performing Agent Team

    Recruit, train, and manage top-tier agents across resale and new development.

    Implement clear KPIs, incentives, professional standards, and accountability frameworks.

    Build a performance-driven culture focused on customer outcomes and continuous improvement.

  • Sales Execution & Funnel Ownership

    Own the end-to-end sales funnel: lead assignment, qualification, nurturing, negotiation, and closing.

    Deploy proven sales playbooks, scripts, and structured workflows to maximise conversion.

    Drive daily execution discipline and strong transaction velocity across teams.

  • Agent Growth & Productivity

    Track and improve key metrics including conversion rate, revenue per agent, and deal cycle time.

    Run weekly coaching, performance reviews, and structured upskilling programs.

    Develop future team leaders and managers to support rapid scale.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    Work closely with Marketing to maximise lead quality, volume, and campaign ROI.

    Partner with Product and Tech teams to optimise CRM workflows, automations, and agent tools.

    Coordinate with Operations and Country Leadership to ensure smooth, compliant transaction execution.

  • Strategic Expansion & Market Development

    Scale the brokerage across Jakarta and priority Indonesian cities.

    Introduce and optimise specialised roles such as listing agents, viewing agents, and inside sales.

    Contribute to country-level strategy, pricing models, and long-term growth planning.

  • Country Ownership & Governance

    Own Indonesia brokerage performance including revenue, GTV, agent productivity, and cost discipline.

    Ensure compliance with all local brokerage regulations, licensing requirements, and ethical standards.

    Represent Faz Waz with developers, partners, and key market stakeholders.

    Build a scalable organisational structure and leadership bench to support national expansion.

  • Must-Have Experience
    • 5+ years of experience in real estate brokerage or high-performance sales leadership.
    • Proven track record recruiting, managing, and scaling agent teams (20–100+ agents preferred).
    • Strong understanding of Indonesian residential property markets, particularly Jakarta and major urban centres.
    • Hands-on experience with CRMs, lead management systems, and structured sales pipelines.
    • A highly execution-focused leadership style with strong coaching capability.

    • Total GTV and monthly transaction volume.
    • Lead-to-transaction conversion rate.
    • Agent performance, retention, and progression.
    • Deal cycle time and transaction speed.
    • Country-level brokerage profitability or contribution margin aligned with Group targets.
