CSR & Social Manager — Coal Mining HQ

PT Indexim Coalindo is expanding its operations and strengthening its social performance leadership as we move into a more advanced operational phase. To support sustainable growth and community partnership across our coal mining sites in East Kalimantan, we are looking for a CSR & Social Performance Manager to join our Jakarta Headquarters.

This is a strategic role where you will shape CSR strategy, stakeholder relations, community development programs, and long-term social impact for one of Indonesia’s reputable coal mining groups.

• Develop and execute CSR, PPM, and community development strategies aligned with corporate goals and operational needs
• Lead stakeholder engagement with local communities, district/provincial government, traditional leaders, and key partners
• Strengthen social license to operate through trust-building and proactive community management
• Oversee grievance mechanism, conflict resolution, and social risk mitigation
• Ensure compliance with regulations (PPM, PROPER, Social Commitments, AMDAL Sosial)
• Drive reporting, budgeting, impact measurement, and continuous improvement
• Coach and support CSR & Community Relations teams across multiple sites

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Anthropology, Communication, Development Studies, or related field
• Minimum 10 years experience in CSR, Community Development, External Relations, or Social Performance
• Strong understanding of PPM, FPIC, social mapping, government engagement, and community dynamics
• Experience in coal/mineral mining is highly preferred
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Proven leadership in coordinating multi-stakeholder programs

With regular visits to operations in East Kutai, East Kalimantan.
