Job Description and Responsibilities

  • Lead the acquisition and expansion of strategic partners aligned with Durianpay’s growth and product roadmap.
  • Own end-to-end partnership growth lifecycle: scouting, pitching, commercial negotiation, onboarding alignment, and handover to Partner Success.
  • Drive revenue and cost-related negotiations, including pricing structures, revshare models, MDR optimization, and cost efficiencies.
  • Develop and manage a robust partnership pipeline, ensuring healthy conversion and timely deal closure.
  • Identify new growth opportunities through market research, competitive benchmarking, and transaction data analysis.
  • Build strong senior-level relationships with partners, acting as a trusted commercial counterpart.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Ops to ensure feasibility and scalability of new partnerships.
  • Lead complex partnership discussions involving API integrations, payment rails, technical enablement, and commercial structures.
  • Monitor and report on growth KPIs, including revenue contribution, cost savings, time-to-close, and pipeline health.
  • Prepare and present growth updates, business cases, and strategic recommendations to management and executive stakeholders.
  • Mentor associates and senior associates involved in growth initiatives, ensuring structured execution and prioritization.
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of experience in partnerships, business development, strategic alliances, or commercial roles, preferably in fintech, payments, or technology.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem, partnership models, and commercial structures.
  • Proven experience leading revenue and cost-impacting negotiations.
  • Solid understanding of business contracting, pricing mechanics, and regulatory considerations in partnerships.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to build business cases, forecasts, and commercial models.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa and English, with strong presentation and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-impact initiatives simultaneously with strong prioritization and ownership.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and leading initiatives with minimal supervision.
