Responsibilities
- Perform actuarial calculations for reserves and liabilities in compliance with regulations.
- Assist in preparing actuarial inputs for financial statements and regulatory submissions.
- Support pricing reviews and profitability analysis for insurance products.
- Ensure accurate implementation of IFRS 17 and RBC requirements.
- Guide junior actuarial staff and review their work for accuracy.
- Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis for risk management purposes.
- Prepare actuarial reports for management and regulators.
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Finance.
- Professional actuarial certification (ASA, FSA, FIA, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in actuarial roles within insurance or financial services.
- Experience in reserving, pricing, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in actuarial software (Prophet, Moses) and programming tools (R, Python, VBA).
