Associate​/AVP, Relationship Manager for Japanese Corporate Banking

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) is a leading global financial group with 150,000 colleagues.

• Responsible for promoting a range of MUFG products and services to various Japanese corporate clients.
• Support the department head in the delivery of relevant banking services to customers to meet revenue targets.
• Identify, structure, offer, and process banking solutions, including cash management, derivatives, forwards, trade finance, lending, and funding.
• Negotiate with customers on contract terms, pricing, and commercial solutions to finalize deals.
• Support in monitoring daily transactions and ensure all transactions are executed timely.
• Carry out financial modelling on customers and their businesses to support deal proposals.
• Collaborate with other department members to ensure profit targets are achieved.
• Conduct due diligence, including KYC, commercial, credit, compliance, operation, and legal aspects of potential transactions or clients.
• Prepare deal proposals and credit applications to ensure pricing, product offerings, and structuring align with business strategy, provide high quality service, and mitigate risk to the bank.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, marketing or a related field.
• Desirable to have at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Good command of English;
  Japanese language ability is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of macro and microeconomics.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
