Company Overview
CNGRA (the “Company”) is a renewable energy investor and developer funded by Climate Fund Managers and Norfund. The Company develops and operates rooftop solar projects across Vietnam, the Philippines, and Indonesia, contributing to the transition toward cleaner and more sustainable energy solutions in Southeast Asia.
Position ScopeThis position will lead the Group’s financial management, liquidity planning, refinancing activities, treasury operations, and financial governance across regional markets. The role is responsible for ensuring financial stability, reporting integrity, operational finance discipline, and sustainable funding capacity to support the Group’s strategic growth objectives.
Job Description- Lead Group financial reporting, consolidation, statutory reporting, and audit coordination across all operating entities.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant management reporting and financial disclosures.
- Standardize accounting policies, financial controls, reporting frameworks, and finance procedures across the Group.
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term financial planning processes.
- Monitor budget performance, perform variance analysis, and provide financial insights to management and shareholders.
- Support strategic planning through financial modeling, scenario analysis, and business performance evaluation.
- Lead treasury operations, liquidity planning, cash flow forecasting, and working capital management.
- Monitor debt obligations, covenant compliance, and financing risks across the Group.
- Lead refinancing initiatives, lender negotiations, due diligence coordination, and financing execution activities.
- Oversee operational finance management, cost control initiatives, and financial discipline across business functions.
- Support commercial, operations, and country teams through profitability analysis, pricing evaluation, and financial decision support.
- Monitor EBITDA performance, SG&A efficiency, and operational financial KPIs.
- Strengthen internal controls, compliance processes, and financial governance standards.
- Manage financial risks including liquidity, tax exposure, covenant compliance, and reporting risks.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, lenders, insurers, and external financial stakeholders.
- Work closely with CEO, CIO, GM, BD, ESG, HR, Legal, and country leadership teams to support Group objectives.
- Support fundraising, investment evaluation, and strategic initiatives from a financing and financial sustainability perspective.
- Lead and develop finance teams across regional operations while promoting financial accountability and performance culture.
- Develop and continually improve Group capital structure strategy across equity, local debt, shareholder loans, and project financing.
- Manage strategic banking relationships across jurisdictions to improve financing flexibility and operational efficiency.
- Evaluate opportunities for alternative financing structures, green financing instruments, and structured capital solutions.
- Oversee Group tax structuring considerations across all jurisdictions to improve efficiency and reduce exposure.
- Support transfer pricing, intercompany funding structures, and repatriation planning.
- Monitor evolving tax regulations and assess implications at both project and Group structure level.
- Lead and support the successful implementation and improvement of systems and reporting automation.
- Drive improvements in financial reporting efficiency, dashboarding, and management information systems.
- Work with Business Support team in the adoption of digital tools and AI‑enabled processes to improve finance.
- Lead preparation of board‑level financial materials, shareholder reporting packs, and financing updates.
- Support governance processes related to approvals, delegated authority, and financial accountability.
- Maintain continued visibility of key financial risks, sensitivities, and strategic financial exposures for senior management and shareholders.
- Support scaling of finance functions as the Group expands regionally.
- Establish regional finance capability standards, succession planning, and talent development frameworks.
- Coordinate alignment between country finance teams to improve consistency, transparency, and operational support.
