Finance, Accounting, Tax, and Payroll Senior Officer
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and analytical Senior Finance Officer to support the financial backbone of our newly started electric vehicle (EV) ride-hailing ecosystem. This role is critical in ensuring accurate, timely, and controlled financial operations, particularly in high-volume environments such as driver payouts, payroll, and transaction flows.
You will work closely with Finance, HR, and Operations teams to maintain reliable, scalable, and audit-ready financial processes, supporting both driver (gig workforce) and internal employee ecosystems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-transaction environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesDriver Payout & Financial Operations
- Manage end-to-end driver withdrawal processes, ensuring timely, accurate, and secure disbursements.
- Perform daily reconciliation across internal wallet systems, payment gateways, and bank statements.
- Monitor driver earnings, incentives, commissions, and payout flows within the EV mobility platform.
- Track transaction success rates, failed disbursements, and payout anomalies, and ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure sufficient operational liquidity to support daily driver payouts.
Payroll Administration
- Manage end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Collaborate with HR to validate attendance, compensation components, and employee data.
- Handle payroll disbursement and resolve payroll-related discrepancies efficiently.
- Prepare and maintain daily operational finance reports (payouts, transaction volumes, discrepancies).
- Monitor high-volume financial transactions and ensure data integrity across multiple systems.
- Support financial analysis and provide insights to improve operational efficiency and cost control (e.g., payout, transaction costs).
- Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies between wallet balances, payment gateway reports, and bank records.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal controls, SOPs, and audit requirements.
- Collaborate with Product/Tech teams to improve financial system reliability and automation.
- Support fraud/risk monitoring by flagging unusual or suspicious financial activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in finance operations, accounting, payroll, or payment operations.
- Strong reconciliation and analytical skills, with high attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets (pivot, lookup, data analysis).
- Experience in ride-hailing, mobility, fintech, logistics, or platform-based companies is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with payment gateways / disbursement systems is a strong advantage.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume transaction environment.
- Preferably available to join immediately or within short notice.
- Willing to work on-site (Monday–Friday, 09:00 – 18:00).
