Finance & Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger and ensure accurate journal entries.
• Prepare full set of accounting and present final financial statements (monthly, quarterly, year‑end).
• Reconcile accounts, including bank reconciliations and intercompany balances.
• Manage fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.
• Generate customer invoices based on freight jobs, shipping documents, and related costs.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables.
• Process vendor payments and ensure timely disbursements.
• Monitor freight costs, warehousing expenses, and transport charges.
• Analyze profit margins on shipments and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Assist in pricing and quotation analysis based on historical costs.
• Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor budget vs actual performance and report variances.
• Coordinate with external auditors and prepare audit schedules.
• Generate financial and operational reports for management.
• Support the preparation of reports for management and external stakeholders when required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in logistics or freight forwarding.
• Proficient in Ms. Excel and accounting software.
• Good leadership, teamwork and problem solving.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
