About the RoleResponsible for acquiring new SME borrowers/customers through active sales activities (hunter role), developing business pipelines, identifying financing opportunities, and achieving lending and cross‑selling targets in line with the bank’s business strategy.
Responsibilities- Actively acquire new SME borrowers/customers to achieve business targets.
- Develop and expand business networks through canvassing, referrals, business communities, associations, and market databases.
- Identify customer needs for lending, cash management, trade finance, and other banking products.
- Conduct regular client visits to explore business opportunities and build long‑term relationships.
- Build, manage, and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
- Perform preliminary assessments on customer business feasibility and financing requirements.
- Collect and verify required credit documents in accordance with bank policies.
- Coordinate with credit analyst, legal, operations, and supporting units during the credit process until loan disbursement.
- Monitor portfolio quality and maintain healthy customer relationships.
- Achieve targets in lending, CASA, fee‑based income, and cross‑selling products.
- Ensure compliance with internal banking policies and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Management.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Relationship Management, SME Banking, Commercial Banking, Business Banking, or banking sales roles.
- Proven experience in new customer/debtor acquisition (hunter role) is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of SME lending processes and banking products.
- Strong business networking and market penetration capabilities.
- Highly target‑oriented with strong sales drive.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Basic understanding of financial statement analysis and business assessment.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- High integrity and good understanding of banking compliance.
