We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Accounting Department to join PT Bank Woori Saudara Indonesia 1906, Tbk in South Jakarta. This is a full‑time position that plays a crucial strategic role within our finance function. As Head of Accounting Department, you will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance for the bank, leading a team of accounting professionals and serving as a key stakeholder in the bank's financial governance framework.

• Oversee the complete accounting function, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, and reconciliation processes
• Direct the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with Indonesian accounting standards and banking regulations
• Ensure compliance with Bank Indonesia regulations, financial reporting standards and internal control policies
• Lead and supervise the accounting department team, providing guidance, coaching and performance management to develop staff capabilities
• Manage the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors on audit matters, responding to findings and implementing corrective actions
• Liaise with regulatory authorities regarding financial reporting submissions and compliance matters
• Provide accurate and timely financial analysis and reporting to senior management and the Board of Directors
• Maintain robust internal controls and monitor compliance with anti‑fraud measures and regulatory requirements
• Oversee the accounting information systems and recommend improvements to strengthen operational effectiveness
• Support the budget planning process and provide variance analysis and financial insights

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; professional accounting qualifications such as CA, CPA or equivalent are highly desirable
• Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a senior or management role within a banking or financial services environment
• Extensive knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards, banking regulations and Bank Indonesia compliance requirements
• Proven expertise in financial accounting and reporting, particularly in the banking sector
• Strong understanding of internal controls, risk management and regulatory frameworks
• Demonstrated experience in leading and managing accounting teams effectively
• Proficiency with accounting software and enterprise systems, with the ability to evaluate and implement new technologies
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and attention to detail skills
• Strong communication abilities in both English and Indonesian, with the capacity to explain complex financial information clearly to diverse audiences
• Sound judgement, integrity and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards
• Experience with financial process improvement, cost optimisation and operational efficiency initiatives is advantageous
