As a Finance Supervisor at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you’ll oversee financial processes including monthly close, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting while collaborating with business leaders to provide strategic insights and support data-driven decisions. • Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience, or Bachelor’s Degree plus 5 years of experience in finance/accounting with at least 1 year in a leadership role
• Preferred Fields of Study:
  Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and financial planning tools (Hyperion)
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis
• Excellent project management and process improvement capabilities
• Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to collaborate at all levels
• Experience managing month-end close, forecasting, and budgeting processes
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining accuracy and timeliness
• Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and internal controls preferred
• Professional fluency in English required; additional languages beneficial
• Strong business acumen and understanding of complex organizational structures
