Job Description
Pricing Lead will be responsible for managing the development of new product initiatives and assisting the Head of Pricing with any adhocs related to products.
Key Responsibilities- Managing new product initiatives
- Managing a team of pricing analysts
- Negotiating with reinsurance
- Managing queries from Regional Office
- Assisting Head of Pricing in product-related adhocs
- Proficient in Excel, VBA Macro, AXIS
- Understanding different types of products and profit drivers
- Deep understanding of actuarial cashflows and ability to quickly connect changes in assumptions with impact to profitability
- Understanding the different needs of distribution
- Ability to manage and lead a team of pricing analysts
- Ability to communicate actuarial results and translate them to recommended business decisions
- Good communication skills (verbal and written) in English
- Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science or related field
- 4–7 years of pricing experience
- Actuarial exam certifications (Associate certification or higher is preferred)
