Minimum Experience:

15+/12+ years of relevant experience in real estate advisory, development, investment, asset strategy, or portfolio management.

Role Purpose

The REAPM Director / Associate Director will lead TP’s Real Estate Advisory and Portfolio Management practice, overseeing assignments related to asset strategy, portfolio planning, market and investment analysis, development positioning, and implementation pathways. The role is responsible for shaping project direction, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring high-quality advisory outputs.

This position requires the ability to connect real estate strategy with urban, infrastructure, policy, and investment considerations, and to guide clients in making informed decisions on assets, portfolios, and development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Practice and Project Leadership
  • Lead the delivery of real estate advisory and portfolio management assignments.
  • Provide direction on project framing, scope, methodology, and outputs.
  • Oversee analyses related to portfolio strategy, asset optimisation, development potential, land use positioning, and investment readiness.
  • Ensure work streams are delivered on time and to high quality.
  • Strategic Advisory and Investment Thinking
  • Advise clients on asset repositioning, portfolio rationalisation, development opportunities, and investment strategy.
  • Integrate market, financial, spatial, regulatory, and operational considerations into recommendations.
  • Support the development of strategic narratives for complex real estate and infrastructure-linked assets.
  • Provide senior input to investment-facing materials and partnership propositions.
  • Client and Market Engagement
  • Serve as senior relationship lead for key clients and partners.
  • Lead presentations, workshops, and strategic discussions on asset and portfolio matters.
  • Support business development and opportunity origination in priority sectors.
  • Represent TP in external discussions relevant to the REAPM practice.
  • Team Development and Cross-Practice Coordination
  • Mentor team members within REAPM and support collaboration with economics, policy, planning, and communications teams.
  • Review technical outputs and guide staff on analytical approach and strategic messaging.
  • Build a strong team culture focused on quality, responsiveness, and practical problem-solving.
  • Quality Assurance and Internal Development
  • Maintain internal standards for advisory quality, clarity, and commercial relevance.
  • Support the development of REAPM tools, methodologies, and practice positioning.
  • Contribute to internal planning, staffing, and capability growth.
  • Asset strategy and portfolio management reports
  • Development and repositioning strategies
  • Market and investment analysis
  • Executive memos and decision support papers
  • Partnership and investor-facing materials
  • Inputs to bids and strategic growth initiatives
Required Qualifications and Competencies
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Finance, Economics, Architecture, or related field.
  • Minimum 15/12 years of relevant experience in real estate advisory, development, investment, asset strategy, or portfolio management.
  • Strong client-facing and project leadership experience.
  • Experience across both public and private sector contexts is an advantage.
