About the Role
We are seeking a Project Sales Manager to lead project-based sales for ceiling and drywall systems and related building materials with focus area in Jakarta Raya. You will develop territory and account plans, win specifications, and secure project orders with developers, contractors, applicators, dealers, and government/private stakeholders.
Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and execute sales and account plans for the assigned Jakarta territory.
Map the market: survey active and upcoming projects; approach developers/owners, government/private construction divisions, contractors, applicators, dealers, local depots, and the regional construction network.
Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with key customers and business partners to win projects.
Regularly visit strategic customers to promote company products and systems and drive specification and conversion.
Collaborate with marketing, logistics, and customer service to ensure seamless project execution from specification to delivery.
Offer value-driven technical solutions (including ceiling and drywall systems), clearly presenting strengths and limitations to enhance our value proposition.
Read and interpret detailed performance specifications to meet standards and customer requirements.
Apply a disciplined project selection methodology to target the right projects and contractors and drive drywall system penetration.
Define the right approach and solutions to win manufacturer product specifications and orders; manage pipeline and track conversion in CRM.
Negotiate commercial terms effectively while safeguarding margin and customer satisfaction.
Associate or bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design, civil engineering, or a related field (preferred).
Proven sales experience, ideally within the building materials or construction industry.
Strong understanding of construction processes and building materials, with excellent technical knowledge.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills; strong presentation ability.
Ability to build and maintain professional relationships across developers, contractors, applicators, dealers, and government/private stakeholders.
