Role Summary

The AMS Specialist (AMS) is responsible for supporting aftermarket business development activities in Indonesia through proactive telephonic and digital engagement with customers and channel partners. This role focuses on opportunity identification, customer engagement, quotation coordination, opportunity follow‑up, shipment coordination, and receivables follow‑up support for Water Quality Monitoring Reagents, Instrument Spares & Smaller Instrument opportunities. The AMS will work closely with customers, channel partners, ADM & AMS Manager to support business growth initiatives and enhance customer experience.

The role also requires effective use of CRM tools, especially SFDC, to manage the opportunity funnel, track market opportunities, and support data‑driven business development strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support business development activities in the aftermarket and non-key account segment by identifying and nurturing opportunities from various sources, including calls, emails, installed base activities, and marketing-generated leads.
  • Engage customers through digital channels such as telephone and email to understand customer requirements and coordinate opportunity progression through channel partners within defined timelines.
  • Promote awareness and application understanding of reagents, spares, and smaller equipment by working closely with customers and channel partners.
  • Respond promptly to customer queries regarding AMS products and solutions.
  • Work closely with channel partners to support opportunity follow‑up, commercial coordination, and transaction execution through the appropriate channel partner network.
  • Collaborate with the AMS Manager to support business development initiatives and monthly business objectives related to bookings, shipments, and opportunity conversion.
  • Execute tele‑calling and customer engagement initiatives to identify and qualify opportunities for spares, reagents, and smaller equipment in the assigned market.
  • Use SFDC effectively to manage the business funnel, maintain customer and opportunity data, and support reporting and analytics.
  • Monitor market trends, customer activity, and competitor developments to identify potential areas for business expansion and customer engagement.
  • Drive daily management and visual management rhythms around funnel, bookings, shipments, and other relevant operational metrics.
  • Maintain and manage the opportunity funnel in SFDC for the assigned territory.
