Job Description Summary
The role is responsible for selling GE Healthcare imaging products in Indonesia. It focuses on new account development, expanding existing accounts, and maintaining customer relationships within the assigned territory.
Responsibilities- Achieve sales, orders, and margin targets for GE Healthcare imaging sales in the assigned territory.
- Conduct accurate monthly and quarterly forecasts; achieve account penetration and complete territory coverage.
- Manage sales to and through partners and distributors, and perform channel sales support and channel development duties where needed.
- Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of GEHC imaging products and the business of the assigned area, including customers’ key initiatives and priorities.
- Target, gain access, build relationships, develop a business strategy, and maximize opportunities for GE Healthcare imaging products & services within the territory.
- Represent OneGEHC and serve as the primary customer point of contact in the allocated region.
- Analyze market trends, competitors, and accounts to develop a business plan that creates new opportunities for GE Healthcare products & services.
- Provide ongoing feedback to management, modalities, services, and marketing teams.
- Lead market analysis and develop/execution of strategies and action plans to drive sales.
- Collaborate with Modalities and Marketing to promote One GE Healthcare imaging events within the territory.
- Apply relevant product benefits to each client’s segment; consider segmentation and targeting in health care.
- Influence and lead business partners to ensure smooth collaboration and deliver solutions that meet customer expectations.
- Build a network with government bodies and Key Opinion Leaders, and develop a deep understanding of the healthcare structure and players in the territory.
- Coordinate indirect deals for multimodality projects and maximize the share of direct deals within the territory.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through consistent, high‑quality interactions with customer management and by fostering long‑term relationships.
- Follow GE policies, procedures, and the Operating Mechanism.
- Participate in company initiatives as directed by management and ensure compliance with integrity and company policies.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the healthcare industry and/or commercial & channel sales.
- Willingness to travel.
- Ability to analyze customer data and develop financially sound sales solutions.
- Experience in understanding customer needs and business drivers and using this knowledge to develop account plans and strategies.
- Robust interpersonal skills and ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Outstanding influencing, interpersonal, and networking abilities.
- Self‑starter; able to manage time, organize, and prioritize workload.
- Proven account management and project planning skills.
- Direct or indirect management experience, preferably in a large matrixed organization.
- Fluency in English.
- Experience in healthcare equipment sales.
- Preferred to have experience in medical equipment sales within Indonesia with a strong understanding of the local market and buying groups.
- Knowledge or experience with the GE Healthcare product portfolio.
