and Responsibilities – About the role
Reporting to the Country Manager, the role will be responsible for developing, maintaining and managing a 3X funnel based on vendor's revenue targets, quantifying marketing investments, driving and setting objectives for each marketing activity. As the Business Development Manager, you will:
- Strategise and lead engagement with EU across targeted list accounts.
- Create and take leadership on opportunity pursuits and communications between EU, the internal team (Brand, Channel, Tech) and the vendor.
- Develop long‑term business relationships and become the point of contact for EU.
- Ensure effective execution and implementation of projects/programs and manage day‑to‑day operations.
- Proactively identify and qualify cybersecurity sales opportunities.
- Develop and execute sales plans; close deals and manage customer relationships.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of IT and cybersecurity trends.
- Conduct sales presentations and prepare proposals for existing and potential clients.
- Work with pre‑sales to deliver positive outcomes and customer satisfaction.
- Build a sales pipeline to achieve sales objectives and quota on a quarterly basis.
- Recent experience selling IT or a similar industry for at least 3 years.
- Track record of success in acquiring new customers through developing a network.
- Capable of creating and executing sales strategy for new customer acquisition by identifying viable and competitive value propositions that differentiate us.
