Since launching operations in Indonesia in 2021, we've pioneered a new approach to superpollutant reduction through high-integrity refrigerant destruction credits backed by a fully traceable software platform, leading to recognition as a market leader, including securing a multi-year contract to sell carbon credits to Google.
We partner with some of Indonesia's largest companies to capture and properly dispose of these gases, and we are backed by veteran Silicon Valley investors.
As a Sales Development Representative on our Supply Growth team, you are the top of our supply funnel. Recoolit can only destroy the refrigerant we first collect — so your job is to find, contact, and qualify the technicians, AC service companies, building managers, and industrial partners who hold it. You will run outbound outreach across phone, Whats App, email, and in-person field visits, qualify each lead, and book meetings for our Account Representatives to close and onboard.
This is a great fit for someone early in their commercial career (roughly 1–3 years of experience) who is hungry, organized, and energized by talking to lots of people every day. You don't need a climate or technical background — you need persistence, curiosity, and the discipline to keep a pipeline clean.
What you’ll do- Outbound prospecting:
Generate new supply leads through cold outreach, field visits, industry events, and referrals across the HVAC, real estate, and cold chain ecosystems. - Qualification:
Have first conversations with prospective supply partners, understand their business, and assess fit against our criteria. - Meeting setting:
Book qualified meetings and cleanly hand off opportunities to Account Representatives. - CRM hygiene:
Log every interaction and keep pipeline data accurate so the team can forecast and prioritize. - Feedback loop:
Surface what you hear in the field to help us sharpen our messaging, targeting, and offer.
- 1–3 years of experience in sales development, telesales, field sales, or a similarly high-volume, people-facing role. Strong recent graduates with evidence of hustle will be considered.
- Comfortable with high-volume outreach and rejection; you treat a “no” as one step closer to a “yes.”
- Fluent in both English and Indonesian, with strong verbal communication skills.
- Organized and digitally literate — comfortable with a CRM, Slack, Whats App Business, and spreadsheets.
- Self-motivated and reliable in a fast-paced startup environment where targets are aggressive and change is constant.
- Values alignment: you are constantly learning, operate with transparency, take ownership, act as part of a team, and are motivated by climate impact.
