- Develop and execute strategic sales and business development plans to increase revenue, market share, and profitability in the Food & Beverage sector.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities – including new clients, sectors, and market segments within food & beverage manufacturing, processing, and facilities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor movements, and customer needs to guide strategy and optimise sales approaches.
- Build, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and internal stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer challenges and recommending tailored solutions in cleaning, hygiene, sanitation, and food safety.
- Apply consultative selling techniques to strengthen long‑term partnerships and drive customer loyalty.
- Lead commercial activities including proposal creation, negotiations, and contract closures aligned with company objectives.
- Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline updates, business reviews, and performance analyses.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with marketing, supply chain, technical, finance, and service teams to ensure high customer satisfaction and seamless execution.
- Represent Diversey at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to reinforce brand visibility and thought leadership.
- Stay informed on regulatory changes and industry developments relevant to food & beverage production and hygiene standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Chemical/Industrial Engineering, Food Science, or a related field (depending on F&B specialization).
- Typically 10+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management – ideally within food & beverage, hygiene, sanitation, chemical, or industrial solution sectors.
- Strong commercial, strategic thinking, planning, and analytical capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Customer‑focused mindset with strong relationship‑building and consultative selling abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms and standard office software.
- Willingness to travel as required for customer engagement.
