Account Manager, Oils and Fats SEA

In this role, you will work closely with commercial, technical, and marketing teams to win business, grow the opportunity pipeline, and create long‑term customer value across Southeast Asia in a dynamic, multicultural environment.

This is a strategic and customer‑facing role with regional responsibility across Southeast Asia, combining business development, technical insight, and account leadership. You will play a key role in driving growth in the Oils & Fats segment by translating customer needs into winning enzymatic solutions.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Driving SEA Oils & Fats business growth by implementing enzymatic technologies and executing Must Win Battles in the Oils & Fats industry
• Developing and executing account plans to enable strategic customer discussions, identifying Must Win Battles, required support and resources, and competitive threats
• Pursuing new business development opportunities through a holistic approach, including up‑selling and cross‑selling across the Novonesis portfolio
• Engaging with customers across multi‑layered organizations (R&D, operations, procurement, business development, and C‑level) in diverse cultural environments
• Understanding market dynamics in the palm oil and Oils & Fats industries and translating insights into customer value propositions

Education & experience (must‑haves):

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or a relevant engineering, science, or business field
• More than 10 years of relevant industry experience within refinery, biodiesel, oleochemical, or specialty fats plants
• Proven experience working with engineering companies in the Oils & Fats industry
• Strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
• Experience in selling enzymes in Southeast Asia is highly preferred

Professional skills & competencies:

• Strong analytical capability to conduct customer needs dialogues, break down complex challenges, and propose effective solutions
• Solid technical understanding combined with strong commercial acumen
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

• Hands‑on experience working with enzymatic solutions in industrial applications
• Verbal communication skills in Bahasa
• Exposure to working with EPCs, universities, or research centers
• Experience operating in highly matrixed, regional or global organizations
