Geologist

This role involves developing exploration plans and strategies for mineral deposits, conducting geological mapping and field data collection, and managing exploration databases. You will perform geological interpretation, generate technical maps using GIS and geological software, assist in mineral resource evaluation, and prepare exploration reports and documentation.

• Develop exploration plans and strategies for mineral deposits
• Conduct geological mapping and field data collection to support exploration activities
• Compile, manage, verify, and validate exploration databases and geological data
• Conduct exploration data analysis and geological interpretation
• Generate technical and exploration maps using relevant GIS and geological software
• Assist in geological modelling and mineral resource evaluation
• Prepare technical documents, exploration reports, and mineral resources-related documentation
• Coordinate with the technical team and other relevant parties to support exploration projects

• Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 1 year of geological mapping experience is preferred
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship or field experience are welcome to apply
• Experience in geological mapping for nickel, bauxite, and/or gold commodities is an advantage
• Familiar with GIS and geological modelling software, such as Leapfrog, Surpac, and Micromine
• Good understanding of geological exploration activities, data management, and interpretation
• Experience in preparing exploration and mineral resources documents is an advantage
  
  Good analytical, communication, and reporting skills
• Willing to work in field-based environments and travel to project sites
