Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is a vital part of Arbour Hospital's multidisciplinary treatment team. Responsibilities include providing advanced practice nursing support for psychiatric patients, participating in treatment planning, implementation, and monitoring, collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team to identify patient treatment needs, completing medication assessments and adjustments, prescribing medication for patients under the supervision of a psychiatrist, providing social support as needed, and establishing and maintaining effective working relationships within the agency, community, and referral sources.

Qualifications:

Requirements include a current MA state license as a Nurse Practitioner, 2-3 years of experience working in community health preferred, and CPR certification.
