1st​/2nd Grade Combo Class Teacher

Teacher Position

Jamestown School District is seeking a highly motivated and student-centered Teacher to join our team beginning in the 2026–2027 school year. This position serves students in a primary grade classroom and provides standards-based instruction. The selected candidate will deliver standards-based instruction, support the academic and social-emotional development of students, and collaborate with colleagues, families, and administration to ensure student success.

• Provide effective, standards-aligned instruction in core subject areas

• Implement positive classroom management and PBIS-aligned practices

• Use student data to inform instruction and support growth

• Collaborate with grade-level teams and support staff

• Communicate regularly with families

• Participate in professional development and ongoing program refinement

Qualifications:

• Valid California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential or intern eligible

• English Learner Authorization (CLAD or equivalent)

• Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a positive school culture
