Junior Accountant – temporary replacement contract

A Junior Accountant is responsible for verifying and posting documents, reconciling accounts, and supporting financial and accounting processes related to month-end closing.

• Verifying accounting documents for compliance with formal, accounting, and tax requirements.
• Entering documents into the accounting system, posting purchase invoices, and preparing bank transactions.
• Reconciling accounts with Polish and foreign business partners and monitoring accounts payable.
• Assisting with the month-end closing process, including preparing data for journal entries and reconciliations.
• Ongoing collaboration with other company departments to clarify recorded documents.

• At least one year of experience in a similar role
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and a desire to continue developing in the field of accounting
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel
• Working knowledge of English sufficient to handle documents and communicate via email
• Attention to detail, responsibility, good organizational skills, and the ability to work in a team
• Knowledge of accounting systems, such as MS Dynamics Business Central, is a plus
