Chief Accountant Poland Bielsko-Biala

In our Polish operation, we are now looking for a Chief Financial Accountant. The main responsibility will be driving proper accounting process across two sites (Bielsko-Biala and Gliwice) and manage an accounting/finance team on each site.

Activities will include:

• Keeping accounting and tax records according to company policy and legal requirements
• Active communication with tax, customs and other other regulation authorities, provision of required documentations and statements, explanations
• VAT and corporate income tax preparation
• Preparation of annual budget and related forecasts
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly or annual financial reports for the manufacturing site and ensuring highest accuracy of reporting
• Working closely with the Financial Director and Plant Manager on improvements and savings
• Supervision and management of site accounting teams and their development and guidance

• University degree in Economics or Finance
• Min. 5 years experience in similar position in finance or accounting in a bigger manufacturing company
• Experience with in an Automotive manufacturing environment advantageous
• Knowledge and ability to interpret accounting and tax regulations
• High level of accuracy and detail orientation
• Excellent organisational skills, ability to manage team workload
• Ability or previous experience in leading accounting/finance team and their professional development
