UPMC Chautauqua is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Courier to join our Laboratory team!

This position plays an important role in supporting patient care by transporting specimens and supplies between UPMC Chautauqua, off-site laboratory locations, provider offices, and healthcare facilities throughout Chautauqua County, Warren, PA, and Randolph, NY. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license, strong driving skills, and the ability to navigate multiple locations while following established policies and procedures. We are looking for someone who is reliable, flexible, punctual, and able to balance teamwork with independent decision-making. Previous courier or delivery experience is helpful but not required.

The position offers approximately 20 hours per week with daytime hours, no weekend or holiday requirements, scheduling flexibility, and the opportunity to work alongside a supportive and easy-to-work-with team.

Sort and distribute interoffice mail, x-rays, and packages.

• Sort all interoffice and incoming US mail as required.
• Organize mail for delivery to various drop off/pick up sites around the UPMC .
• Follow the schedule set by the Office Manager and Administrator of Operations.
• Promptly answer all pages and take appropriate action to take care of urgent deliveries.
• Pick up and distribute clean lab coats on assigned days. Maintain confidentiality
• Complete compliance training as well as hospital and department fire/safety and infection control training and maintain current knowledge of safety procedures within the hospital and department.
• Performs in accordance with system-wide competencies/behaviors. Performs other duties as assigned.
