Job summary:
Project a positive image as a representative of the Credit Union by receiving visitors and members, answering telephones, and performing various administrative and clerical duties.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- SCFCU expects regular attendance and punctuality. This means being in the workplace, ready to work at your scheduled start time each day and completing your entire shift. Employees are also expected to return from scheduled meals and break periods on time.
- Meet all Bank Secrecy Act training requirements.
- Retrieve messages from voicemail and forward to appropriate personnel.
- Answer incoming calls, determine purpose, and forward to appropriate personnel or department.
- Take and deliver messages or transfer calls to voicemail when necessary.
- Provide callers with organizational information including address and directions.
- Welcome on-site visitors, determine nature of business, and announce visitors.
- Monitor visitor access and issue passes when required.
- Update appointment calendars.
- Create and print fax cover sheets, memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents.
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and collating.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
