Role Purpose

The Business Excellence Director – EMEA will be accountable for driving disciplined execution and performance management across a ~$185M revenue base, spanning Europe, North Africa, Turkey, and Egypt. The role will embed a structured commercial framework with clear tracking, governance, and accountability, while strengthening execution through key enablers such as the Commercial Academy, Hub Spot, and Customer Service excellence.

This role will report to and work closely with the Senior Vice President EMEA & Global Safety, the role will help translate strategic direction into actionable plans, track progress, and ensure delivery with pace and accountability.

This role will require working closely with commercial leaders and all other functions, to support sharper end use focus, improved execution discipline, and consistent delivery of growth initiatives across sub-regions as part of mid‑term business strategy.

In parallel, the role will coordinate and support a structured, fact‑based assessment of the manufacturing footprint, bringing analytical rigor to cost, capacity, and service trade-offs to inform decision‑making on future network optimization.

What will you do (key responsibilities)
  • Support the standardization of KPIs, governance, and performance management cadence to strengthen accountability.
  • Identify and help scale best practices across markets and sub‑regions.
  • Strengthen data‑led decision‑making through improved performance tracking and analytics.
  • Support commercial transformation through digital enablers (e.g., Hub Spot, Pricing Tools) and capability‑building initiatives.
  • Contribute to improvements in growth, margin, cost productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Support sharper product and portfolio focus across key end uses (Apparel, Safety, OIA, Automotive, Footwear).
  • Contribute to strengthening customer value propositions as part of EAGLE.
  • Support refinement of targeted growth strategies across sub‑regions in line with segmentation.
Support Manufacturing Excellence
  • Support the running of a structured monthly operating rhythm across manufacturing.
  • Track key performance metrics (productivity, quality, cost, service) and ensure visibility and transparency.
  • Support follow‑up on agreed actions to ensure timely resolution and accountability.
Support Manufacturing Footprint Assessment
  • Support a structured, fact‑based assessment of the current manufacturing footprint.
  • Contribute to analysis of cost structure, capacity utilization, logistics, service implications, and risk exposure.
  • Support development of scenario models (e.g., consolidation, relocation, outsourcing).
  • Provide analytical input to inform recommendations, including financial impact and trade‑offs.
  • Assist in preparing materials to support senior leadership decision‑making.
Who are you (requirements)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience supporting business transformation, operational excellence in a multi‑country environment.
  • Good commercial acumen combined with a good understanding of operations.
  • Strong analytical capability with experience in financial analysis, scenario evaluation, and data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Ability to translate strategic direction into structured plans and support execution with a focus on results.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to work across functions and geographies without direct authority.
  • Collaborative working style with the ability to build alignment across diverse teams and stakeholders.
