Cracow University of Technology in Krakow announces a competition for the position of Assistant (F/M) in the group of research and teaching staff at the Department of Bridge, Metal and Timber Structures (L-3), Faculty of Civil Engineering.
Proportion of work time: full time
Number of positions available (F/M): 1
Type of employment contract: fixed term of 12 months
Represented scientific discipline: civil engineering, geodesy and transport
Organizational unit: Department of Bridge, Metal and Timber Structures (L-3), Faculty of Civil Engineering
Qualifications- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Documented knowledge of English.
- Knowledge of the Polish language sufficient to conduct teaching classes.
- Indicated Cracow University of Technology as the primary place of employment.
- Significant achievements during studies or experience in scientific research, preferably with a documented publication record.
- Predisposition to research and teaching.
- Confirmed pedagogical training or a commitment to complete it within the first year of employment.
- Additional requirements:
- Research interests related to bridge, metal and timber structures.
- Organizational skills and ability to work in a team.
- Proficient knowledge of European design standards and guidelines, particularly those related to bridge, metal and timber structures.
- Conducting scientific activities with the obligation to publish the obtained results.
- Educating and mentoring students.
- Participating in the organizational work of the Cracow University of Technology.
- Continuously improving professional competences.
- Actively participating in research conducted at the home department.
- Remuneration:
- Fixed components: base salary ranging from 5,900 PLN to 6,100 PLN and seniority allowance from 3% to 20% of base salary.
- Variable remuneration components as specified in the CUT Employee Remuneration Regulations.
