announces the competition for the position of:

• An assistant professor (in the teaching group), m/f
• discipline: medical sciences/health science (palliative care nursing)
• at the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences (Institute of Health Sciences).

Skills/Qualifications

Candidates applying for the above position should meet the requirements set forth in Article 20(1) points 1-3 and Article 113 points 1 and 2 of the Law of July 20, 2018 - Law of Higher Education and Sciences and:

• hold a master’s degree in nursing;
• hold a license to practice as a nurse;
• have a specialisation in palliative care nursing;
• have professional experience as a nurse;
• have sufficient knowledge of Polish to conduct academic classes with students.

An additional advantage will be:

• Experience of teaching at a university;
• Possess qualifications and experience in the field of medical simulation, as evidenced by a certificate as an instructor in low-, medium- and high-fidelity medical simulation.

The candidates should submit the following documents:

• Application for employment adressed to the Rector of the University.
• A copy of documents confirming obtaining the high school diploma and academic degrees.
• Information on his/her scientific, teaching and organizational activities, including a list of achievements.
• Personal questionnnaire for the applicant or CV.
• A statement that he/she meets the requirements for the position of academic teacher.
• A clause expressing consent to the processing of personal data for the purposes of the recruitment process.

The competition committee reserves the right to interview in person with the candidates.

The competition is expected to be resolved by 26 August, 2026.

Planned employment as of October 1, 2026

On the basis of 92 paragraph of the Statute of Siedlce University, the Rector reserves the right to withdraw from the settlement of the competition for important reasons.

Selected candidates will be contacted. The documents sent by the University will not be returned. In case the candidate is not employed, the documents will be destroyed. In order to meet the deadline for submitting applications,, the date of their reception by to the University is decisive.
